How did you get involved with Neighbors Together?
I live in Brooklyn and was looking for an opportunity to serve the community. A friend mentioned that she was on the board of Neighbors Together and described the work that it does. I met with other board members and staff and served a meal in the café. The passion and commitment of all involved was evident, as was the effect on those served. I am fortunate to have been welcomed as a board member.
What do you love about being part of Neighbors Together?
I love that Neighbors Together has stayed true to its mission and delivers what its members need on a daily basis, quietly making a big difference. I am humbled and inspired by Neighbors Together.
